Sample Park Trip Itinerary
8:00am- 9:00am Early bird drop-off
9:00am - 9:30am Drop off and morning meeting, preparing for trip
9:30am - 12:00pm Prospect Park or local outing (includes morning snack)
12:00pm - 12:30pm Lunchtime (could be at the park or in the classroom)
12:30pm - 1:30pm Rest or nap time. Depending on your child’s needs, they will either take a nap or rest quietly with books or gentle music.
1:30pm - 2:45pm Indoor activities, including messy play and grassy hill areas, loose parts, recycled materials, open-ended toys, books, fabric, sticks, rocks, and sensory areas containing water, mud, and other interactive materials. All kinds of child-directed play is invited, with emphasis placed on the care of ourselves, others, and our environment during our activities.
2:45pm - 3:00pm Clean-up and goodbye
3:00pm - 6:00pm Extended day - Snack will be offered at 3pm. Children will be provided with opportunities for free play and mindful activities.
Important notes for Families
Families must provide a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack* (for those kids in extended day), as well as a full water bottle each day. All items MUST be peanut/tree nut free.
Families are required to submit an up-to-date medical form and immunizations prior to their child attending camp.
Details for Enrollment
Classes:
Open to children ages 2 years - 5 years. Children must be officially 2 years old by June 16th, 2025 to attend.
Children who were born between January 1st, 2022 - June 16th 2023 will be placed in a 2s class.
Children with birthdays between January 1st, 2020 - December 31st, 2021, will be grouped in a mixed age class with 3-5 year olds.
Each class is capped at 10 children. There are two dedicated classroom teachers, as well as floating teachers that accompany groups to Prospect Park and support classrooms as needed throughout the day.

Tuition and Payment Policies

standard day, 9am-3pm - $805
early drop, 8am-9am - $65
extended day, 3pm-6pm - $205
Payment is due in full to secure your child’s place in the program. Once registration and payment are submitted, all selections are final. Once your request has been submitted, families will receive a confirmation email within one business day, followed by an invoice to submit payment to secure the place.
Registration fee: There is a $105 registration fee per child.
Schedule Change Fee: Please look over your selections carefully before submitting your summer registration. Once registration and payment are submitted, all selections are final. Any changes to scheduling are subject to availability and will incur a $75 schedule change fee.
Tuition is non-refundable and due in full when registering your child for summer classes. Families are responsible for checking to ensure dates of attendance are correct prior to submitting payment.
Families are responsible for the full balance due, regardless of the days their child actually attends.
No refunds, credits, or makeups will be given for classes missed, including those due to travel, illness, or schedule conflicts.
Transfers: For our summer session only — Families who purchased week(s) they can no longer use may transfer those week(s) to another interested family. Families are solely responsible for finding another family to take their child's place, and are solely responsible for negotiating payment details and conditions with each other.
Wonderforest is not responsible for any communication, agreements, or payments between families. Families, however, must ensure the new child is eligible for the program selected in regards to age. Partial week transfers and changes to days and times of attendance will not be honored. Once an agreement between families has been finalized, Wonderforest must be provided with the names and contact information of the new family within 5 business days prior to the start of their classes.
